Dakota Johnson Spends Times With Boyfriend Matthew Hitt On ‘How To Be Single’ Filming Break
Dakota Johnson may play a single woman in the 2016 film “How to Be Single,” but, in reality, it appears she’s off the market. The actress was recently spotted with her rumored boyfriend, musician Matthew Hitt, while on a break in filming the comedy feature.
The Daily Mail obtained photographs of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star, 25, strolling with her rumored beau in New York June 20. In one shot, Hitt, who has been linked to the actress since last July, has his hand on Johnson’s shoulder with the actress reciprocating his affections, placing her hand on his back. Another shot shows the couple holding hands with Johnson’s dog, Zeppelin, in tow.
Johnson’s day out with Hitt, 28, came after dozens of days spent on the set of her latest flick, “How to Be Single.” The actress has been seen on the streets of New York filming the Christian Ditter-directed movie since April. Johnson was most recently spotted on the set Thursday, wearing casual summer attire. Later the same day, she changed into sleepwear to film a sequence where her character steps out of a window to speak to someone on the street, according to the Daily Mail.
“How to Be Single” is based on the concept that New York is “full of lonely hearts seeking the right match,” according to IMDb’s synopsis of the film. Johnson will star with Rebel Wilson, Alison Brie, Leslie Mann and Damon Wayans Jr. as their characters seek to “learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love.” The movie is due in U.S. theaters Feb. 12, but it isn’t the only thing Johnson has lined up.
The actress is booked to film two follow-ups to February’s wildly successful “Fifty Shades of Grey.” In 2017, she will reprise her role as Ana Steele, a sexually inexperienced college student, alongside Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades Darker.” The final installment in the series, “Fifty Shades Freed,” is scheduled to premiere in 2018.
