It was a sad night for “Dancing with the Stars” fans as not one but two couples were sent home during the dreaded double-elimination round Tuesday. So, which foxtrotting twosomes were given the ax during Week 8 of the 2015 competition?

Unfortunately for Team Sharkaroo, “Shark Tank” star Robert Herjavec and his dazzling partner Kym Johnson were the first to be eliminated. “This show is such an inspiration for so many people. I’m so honored to have been able to do it. It was so much fun,” Robert said after learning the heartbreaking news of his elimination.

Although we’re going to miss watching Robert shake it out on the dance floor with Kym, we’re even more upset we won’t be able to watch the duo’s rumored relationship unfold before our eyes. Monday night, Robert and Kym gave the fans what they wanted by locking lips during their steamy “America’s Choice” performance. But it appears their TV chemistry might be even hotter off-camera!

“DWTS” co-host Tom Bergeron attempted to get the scoop on their romance when he teased Robert by saying that, despite “Shark Tank” star not winning the Mirror Ball Trophy, he suspected he “won someone’s heart.”

“Tom, I’m not sure I feel that way about you,” Robert quipped, trying his best to avoid the subject.

The second couple to get sent home Tuesday consisted of “The Bachelor” star Chris Soules and Witney Carson. “This has been an incredible experience. I am just thankful to have been a part of it,” said the misty-eyed Chris, who was dubbed as the most-improved dancer by the judges. “I came here and did something I’ve never done in my entire life and made some progress in something, and it’s just been life-changing. I’m forever grateful.”

The couples appeared on “Good Morning America” the following day to address the double elimination.

Chris kicked off the interview explaining why the elimination was so emotional for him. “We’ve been doing this for ten weeks, and it’s been my life for a long time, and you get to a point where you’re really invested,” the fiance of Whitney Bischoff said. He added that he had worked really hard throughout the competition, practicing more than 10 hours a day -- even with a torn calf muscle.

“Everyone on the show dealt with a lot of injuries,” Chris said, referring to dancer Derek Hough’s current ankle issue. “It was pretty painful, but amazingly it’s feeling pretty good now.”

When asked whether he would return to reality television a third time, Prince Farming replied, “My reality is a farm right now.”

Robert and Kym were put in the hot seat next when asked about their speculated romance on the morning show. Once again, however, the entrepreneur dodged the inquiry with a joke.

“I’m not dating Tom. I love him and respect him, but I didn’t want to go there,” Robert said before revealing his admiration for his partner. “I think [Kym] did an amazing job taking someone like me, who’s never danced before, this far,” he said.According to the “Shark Tank” star, he was surprised to even make it past Week 1. “Here I am! It’s been a great experience.”

Robert revealed that now he’s eliminated from the Season 20 competition, he’ll return to his first love: business. The money-savvy star explained he’s traveling across America to find local businesses worth investing in. But don’t worry, Robert/Kymshippers. Robert teased that this won’t be the last time his fans see him with Kym, revealing he envisions “more dancing with Kym” in his future. “I’m a pro dancer now," he said.
