Vincent D’Onofrio plays bad guy Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin, on “Marvel’s Daredevil,” but the Netflix star is a supportive friend off-screen. The actor took to Twitter to sing the praises of Deborah Ann Woll.

“@DeborahAnnWoll is one of the best actors around at the moment,” D’Onofrio wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “Her set etiquette is calm and smooth. Kind. Something that took me years to learn. Her sense of story is enlightened. [And] when the camera is rolling she brings it. She is all these things [and] more. This is what our job is.”

The actor was inspired to share the compliment after the official “Daredevil” account tweeted out a scene with Fisk confronting Woll’s Karen Page. Fisk is the one with most of the lines, but Woll brings her A-game as she plays Karen’s realization that Fisk knows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is Daredevil.

Fans hope to see more of the actors. Some have already started a campaign for “Daredevil” Season 4. After the cancellations of “Marvel’s Iron Fist” and “Marvel’s Luke Cage,” it seems the fandom is worried about the fate of the first Marvel show on Netflix. Still, the streaming platform has yet to announce whether the drama will return for Season 4.
