The tweet stated, "More information about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will be revealed on September 25, 2021." They also speculated, "A release date may be announced!"

In February, Ufotable, the Japanese animation company behind "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2, confirmed the anime is coming this year. However, it did not reveal the specific release date of the much-awaited anime.

Several sites earlier reported that the anime's second season would launch sometime in October. The leaks about the release date announcement appear to align with the October launch window.

The Entertainment District Arc will stream on Funimation this year, as confirmed by the official Twitter account of "Demon Slayer." Rumors have it that the English dub of the anime's second season could premiere either later in 2021 or the early part of 2022 following a deal the team struck with Toonami.

The American late-night television programming block had done the same with anime series like "Sword Art Online" and "Promised Online." Previous release behavior would tell fans it might take six to eight months before fans could watch "Demon Slayer" Season 2 English dub on Funimation.

The second season of the hit anime series will pick up where the movie "Demon Slayer: Infinity Train" left off. It will tell the story of the Entertainment District and feature the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui.

The upcoming season is going to be another exciting offering if the promotional materials and narrative on the manga are anything to go by.
