There have been various rumors surrounding DJI Mavic Mini these past days. However, a new set of details about the upcoming drone recently appeared online. The leaked information gives away the price, special features, and specs of DJI next device.

The DJI Mavic Mini is reportedly the latest camera drone that DJI will soon launch in the market. Based on the recent Newegg listing, it weighs 249 grams, which is insanely lightweight. This means that the DJI Mavic Mini will not be required of an FAA registration since the weight requirement of the agency is above 250 grams.

But, despite its size and weight, it appears that the DJI Mavic Mini is packed with amazing specs and features based on the latest listing. Reportedly, the latest camera drone from DJI has the ability to remain in the air for 30 minutes. It is highly likely that the drone will depend on WiFi to fly within the range of 4KM with HD image transmission directed to the attached phone on the controller.

Additionally, the listing suggests that the DJI Mavic Mini will feature a 2.7K camera on a 3-axis gimbal. Interesting, despite its small footprint, the upcoming camera drone allegedly will keep the company’s signature folding design to make it portable and very easy to carry around. Probably, DJI would like to position the DJI Mavic Mini as the truly pocketable camera drone.

The latest DJI Mavic Mini listing also reveals that the upcoming camera drone will be retailed at around $494 with the Fly More Combo. The combo pack will reportedly contain the DJI Mavic Mini, Controller, Propeller guards, 3 batteries in total, Carrying case, 3 cables (Lightning, USB-C, and micro USB), and charging and sync cable. Rumors have it that the next camera drone from DJI will be announced at the end of Oct or in the early part of Nov 2019.

While the latest details about the DJI Mavic Mini are very interesting, it is worth noting that these come from a listing and not officially from the company. So, just like all other leaks, we suggest taking these details with a pinch of salt and with skepticism.
