If things weren’t scandalous enough with Dallas Cowboys player Orlando Scandrick ending his relationship with Draya Michele Tuesday, the drama continues to build. “Basketball Wives LA” reality star Michele bought for herself the beautiful diamond engagement ring Scandrick supposedly gave her, Love B. Scott wrote a day after the athlete released a statement to TMZ.

Scandrick didn’t want to get married in the first place. “She bought the ring and her publicist planted the story. [Orlando] didn’t propose. He has been trying to sort it out and figure out how to get the f--- away from her for months! She wouldn’t leave his house and was acting [like a] squatter,” an insider told LoveBScott.com in an exclusive report Wednesday. She used all her coins on it.”

Michele told paparazzi that Scandrick took the traditional route with his proposal: “He got down on one knee and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ ” She didn’t give any signs that there was turmoil in their relationship and even said that she and her man were “damn near married” already.

She has been hiding her left hand in her Instagram photos for weeks, Bossip noted. She would either cut her left hand out of the shot, turn it the other way, or hide it under her leg.

After the news broke, the reality star took to her Instagram page to share a quote with her followers. “Sending love to all the girls out there tying to love themselves in a world that’s constantly telling them not to,” it said. Though it wasn’t a direct hit at Scandrick, it seemed obvious to many of Michele's followers that it was about her ex.

While Michele seems like she’s visibly upset about the split, Sandrick is focused on other things. “I don’t want no relations,” he captioned an Instagram selfie. In another photo with friends he wrote, “I’m still workin’.”

Season 4 of “Basketball Wives LA” is set to premiere on VH1 Sunday, July 12, at 9 p.m. EDT.
