The only information Electronic Arts had shared about its EA Play 2021 was that it would be on July 22. However, details from the company's latest announcement and recent leaks revealed more information about the games, livestream schedule, host of the show and more.

The EA Play Live pre-show, which will be followed by the main showcase, is set to start at 10.00 a.m. PT (1.00 p.m. ET) on July 22. On Twitter, the video game company also announced this year's event host is Austin Creed, who is more popularly known as the WWE wrestling star Xavier Woods. Andrea Rene hosted the event in 2018 while Greg Miller hosted the event in 2019 and 2020.

This was the only information Electronic Arts shared at the moment as the EA Play Live is still almost a month away, which gives the company more time to share other details with the industry. While EA has not yet confirmed the games lineup for the upcoming event, media outlet Gamerant shared some titles it believed would be featured at the EA Play Live.

According to the site, the company might showcase "Battlefield 2042," its latest entry to the long-running first-person shooter video games franchise. The game's secret mode might be revealed at the upcoming event, the site speculated, and added fans might also find out the release date of the game's beta.

Another game that might appear at the upcoming event is "Dead Space." Rumors have it a reimagined version of the game developed by EA Motive would be present at the company's event on July 22. In addition to this, the company might also showcase "Dragon Age 4" at the event.

The game's alpha test may also be added on the PlayStation Store ahead of the EA Play event, seemingly supporting rumors of its appearance at the show. It might be in the form of a new trailer that would offer fans some more information about the game. Moreover, Electronic Arts has other titles currently in development, which could be announced at the upcoming event.
