Ellen DeGeneres is getting support from big names in the industry amid the controversies surrounding her and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Stories of DeGeneres' alleged "mean" and "rude" behavior have been surfacing one after the other over the past several months, with several fans and people who have interacted with the talk show host coming forward with their own tales in Kevin T. Porter's Twitter thread in March. Several celebrities and social media personalities have also claimed that DeGeneres was not as nice as she appeared on camera, such as YouTube star NikkieTutorials and actor Brad Garrett, who have both appeared on "Ellen."

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" staffers, meanwhile, have come forward with claims of mistreatment from producers and higher-ups while working on the program, prompting the show's parent company to launch an investigation into the complaints.

But despite the criticism she and "Ellen" producers have been receiving, several of DeGeneres' celebrity pals and former guests have come to her defense on social media.

Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher took to Twitter on Tuesday to share his experience interacting with DeGeneres, though he clarified that he hasn't spoken to the 62-year-old comedian.

"She & her team have only treated me & my team w/ respect & kindness. She never pandered to celebrity which I always saw as a refreshing honesty. When things aren't right she handles it and fixes," he tweeted.

When a fan chided him by saying that DeGeneres only treats billionaire A-listers well, he clarified that he isn’t a billionaire and that the host’s kindness extended to his team and people she didn’t know he worked with.

Diane Keaton

"Annie Hall" star Diane Keaton said that she has always enjoyed her visits to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"I’ve seen how the audience exudes happiness and gratitude. She gives back to many, including me," she added.

Jerry O'Connell

Jerry O'Connell shared an image on Instagram with the words, "I Stand By Ellen."
