KEY POINTS

  • Britney Spears recently marked a victory in the conservatorship battle
  • Spears celebrated the win by doing cartwheels and riding a horse
  • Legal expert Rachel Stockman called the win a "gamechanger"

Britney Spears' fans aren't sure about who is using her social media handle, but they seem to be sure that it is not the singer herself.

Spears' official Instagram handle posted a photo explaining the importance of "third eye" Thursday evening. Fans took to the comment section of the post and noted that the account is not used by Spears herself.

One of the fans wrote, "Ok great now the real Britney COME BACK," while another fan commented, "Illuminati confirmed." Another fan asked, "Who runs this account ?" One of the users noted, "Text …. Random emoji … + text … random emoji + text | LET BRITNEY POST HERSELF."

The reaction came after a photo of a cartoon girl in pink and purple color with the third eye on her forehead was posted on the 39-year-old pop star's Instagram handle.

"The third eye is very important... it's sort of like your sixth sense… once it’s opened you have more clarity… wisdom… and insight !!!! It also deepens your spiritual connection… the third eye is mystical… it provides perception beyond ordinary eyesight," the caption stated.

This isn't the first time when the fans noticed something strange with Spears' Instagram account. Last week, her Instagram post made headlines for using "Kiss My A-- Haters" in the caption, and fans once again noted in the comments that the singer isn't using this account.

One of the fans wrote, "This clearly isn’t Britney" and over 7000+ users agreed by liking that comment. Another fan noted, '"Britney is never this rude" and the comment was liked by over 22000+ users.

Spears recently marked a victory as a judge ruled on Wednesday that she can appoint her own lawyer in the ongoing years-long conservatorship battle against her father, James Spears. The same day, Spears celebrated the development on Instagram by sharing a video of herself doing cartwheels and riding a horse.

Legal expert Rachel Stockman told E Online on Wednesday that the new ruling could become a "real gamechanger" for the singer.

"Britney Spears finally gets to hire her own attorney, her own advocate to fight for her. She gets to choose someone, she gets to vet the background, and she gets to make that decision," Stockman told the outlet. "I think it's a big move and I think it's a really important one."
