A flight attendant working for Delta Air Lines was suspended after a video surfaced on social media showing his sexual encounter with a gay porn star in the airplane bathroom.

“This video does not reflect the standards of professionalism expected of our employees while representing the Delta brand or traveling as passengers on Delta aircraft,” the company said in a statement. “We have suspended the employee and are conducting a full investigation.”

The x-rated video, which went viral on Twitter before being taken down on the request of the unidentified flight attendant, reportedly showed the accused having sex with porn star Austin Wolf inside the plane bathroom.

Wolf has starred in a number of hardcore adult films and frequently advertises himself online as a $1,200-per night “rent boy.” He has refused to comment on the incident.

The plane was mid-flight when the incident happened. Details about the plane’s destination or date of flight were not immediately available.

The attendant was off-duty but was still wearing his uniform when he sneaked into the plane’s washroom with Wolf and spent eight minutes inside locked doors.

However, Delta told Newsweek the flight attendant had no idea he was being filmed because he had not consented to it or to have the video posted online. He also made it clear to the airline company he intended to exercise his legal rights with regards to invasion of privacy and right to publicity.

“If the two guys had gone into the stall, done their thing and discreetly left it at that, maybe he would have gotten away with it. When the clips were posted online it spread around the airline like wildfire. Someone even put together a meme along the lines of this man’s career going down the toilet,” a source at Delta told Mail Online . "It was such a stupid thing to do — and then to have it posted online, the poor guy must be mortified . ”

Meanwhile, the flight attendant told the publication he wanted to put the incident behind him.

“I just want to be left alone please,” he said. “I'm just trying to get my life back on track.”

Delta officials also said their investigation might also involve consulting their lawyer to find out if the posting of a video without the subject’s consent counted as a violation of revenge porn laws.

Sharing of sexually explicit content on social media without the consent of a person or people appearing in it is a punishable act, but the penalties vary on a state-by-state basis depending on the laws governing the place. While such acts are considered a misdemeanor in some states, in others it is called a felony.
