Former Destiny’s Child Member LaTavia Roberson Reportedly In Critical Condition Due To Pregnancy Complications

Singer LaTavia Roberson is reportedly in serious condition after being rushed to the hospital due to pregnancy complications. The former Destiny’s Child member, who’s expecting her second child, was supposedly hospitalized over the Fourth of July weekend.

According to the Shade Room there is no current update on Roberson’s condition but a source close to the singer told the outlet that she’s “fighting for her life.” Roberson announced in an Instagram post last month that she was expecting another child. The 34-year-old didn’t reveal whether she’s pregnant with a boy or girl, but captioned the post: “… must be something in the water!?” Roberson gave birth to her daughter Lyric Richard, with producer Don Vito, in 2013.

Roberson has been using her Instagram to keep fans updated on her pregnancy journey. Two weeks ago she shared that she was four and half months along. Her last update was two days ago when she posted a picture of her sporting her baby bump in a red bikini. “Happy Saturday lovers,” she wrote.

Roberson was one of the four original members of Destiny’s Child. She left the group to form the girl band Anjel and went on to star in several plays such as “Those Jeans,” “Not My Family” and “How To Love.”

Ever since news broke that Roberson was reportedly rushed to the hospital, fans have been flooding Twitter with their well-wishes for her. Media personality Prince Carter posted a collage featuring photos of Roberson, writing, “prayers up my love #lataviaroberson.” So far, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland have not responded to the reports about Roberson.
