Frankie Muniz revealed on Thursday that he came home to find his home flooded and destroyed, but it happened in the least expected manner.

People are well aware of the ways natural disasters — fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. — can destroy homes, but the last way someone would expect to have their property wrecked is by a cat accidentally flooding the place. Unfortunately, Muniz’s pet did exactly that.

“I arrived home from my uncle’s funeral to find 4 of my 5 story brownstone home under 3 feet of water,” he tweeted. “Everything I own, destroyed. Every wall, piece of artwork, personal photos, furniture... All because my cat accidentally turned on a sink a few days ago while we were gone.”

The “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” host knows that this story might sound “ridiculous,” but he needed to open up about it online because it’s true and he needed some support. People “wouldn’t believe the destruction” that was done, the host said, but he’s glad he has his girlfriend Paige Price to help him through it all.

“I’m devastated and exhausted from a tough week with the loss of my Uncle Skip, 45 hours of travel to and from France to walk in to find this disaster,” Muniz continued. “I’ve cried more yesterday and today then my whole life combined. Forgive me for venting.. I just need some support.”

Muniz didn’t share more details about whether his cat was left home alone for all of those days or the current health status of the animal now, after the flooding.
