  • "Genshin Impact" is now playable on PS4, PC, iOS and Android devices
  • The gacha game will release soon on Nintendo Switch
  • There are creative ways in farming artifacts daily in "Genshin Impact"

“Genshin Impact” players are starting to dislike the gacha mechanics of the game because of the lack of sufficient Resin. Because of this, a lot of “Genshin Impact” players are now looking for activities that do not involve the use of resin to optimize the build of their character.

Here are some tips and tricks in farming artifacts in “Genshin Impact” that do not require the use of resin.

The key here is to discover objects that enable players to investigate. In “Genshin Impact,” players usually come across different barrels and fruit stands that contain ingredients. However, some of these occasionally offer up to one-star or two-star artifacts. These items are scattered all throughout the expansive map of the game but are particularly abundant in Liyue.

A Reddit user recently shared a post that points to the location of barrels stacked near each other that offer artifacts. Interestingly, these barrels respawn daily. The location is at the west of Wanshu Inn within an overgrown hovel.

“Genshin Impact” players simply have to break through several boxes to collect them. There are also several low-level artifacts that players can use as enhancement fuel for others. Going back to this location is one of the quickest ways to maintain a good amount of artifacts.

Certain world bosses like Ruin Hunters, Abyss Mages, Hatchlings and Mitachurls are also great sources to farm artifacts without spending Resin in “Genshin Impact.” However, this process requires more from players looking for fodder artifacts to upgrade their existing collections. This is a good way but not really the best and should be resorted to only when players run out of resin but want to do something in the game.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that some world bosses in “Genshin Impact” drop Ascension material instead of artifacts. Players could also resort to grinding Mora without using any resin if they are running short of artifacts.

“Genshin Impact” is available in PC, PS4, iOS and Android devices.
