  • "Genshin Impact" update 1.4 will reportedly feature a new event with a more challenging boss fight

For most "Genshin Impact" players, the Oceanid boss fight is among the most challenging and hardest to complete because of the damage its mirages deal and its distinct mechanics. Still, it seems that players will get a new and special Oceanid boss fight via the upcoming Update 1.4 of the game.

The latest information about the new Oceanid boss fight coming to "Genshin Impact" update 1.4 comes from industry insider Zluet. The insider shares some interesting details about a new event called The Wish of Pure Water on Twitter. According to the leak, the event features Oceanid's Rage and Endora's Education.

The Oceanid's Rage in "Genshin Impact" update 1.4 is somewhat similar to the Resurgent Cryo Regisvine from update 1.2. It is a boss fight that players can do solo or through the co-op mode. Without the Heart of the Spring, which is a reward in Endora's education, players need to pay 40 Resin to pay for the standard elemental boss cost.

Unlike before, players will no longer fight water mirages that the Oceanid summons but the creature itself. In update 1.4, Oceanid is fully voiced and is immune to Freeze. During the boss fight, some characters receive special buffs to help them defeat the boss.

Completing the Oceanid's Rage rewards players with a double drop of Blossom of Revelation. In other words, Ley Line Outcrop will drop 2x the character EXP materials than usual.

Endora's Education is available in two parts, the area of investigation and exploration. The area exploration part of the event sees players equipping a new gear dubbed as the Inquisitive Endora. During the event, players need to shoot down items to collect Pure Hydro Monsters.

The Inquisitive Endora gear temporarily changes players 'Elemental Skill into Bubble Spit. After completing five stages, players get Primogems, Mora and the Heart of the Spring. The other part of the event, which is the investigation area, rewards players with the ability to add the Endora to their inventory as a companion, permanently, aside from getting Primogems.

"Genshin Impact" is available on PC, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android devices.
