A new promo for "Girls" Season 4 teases plenty of spoilers for the 2015 season. HBO

“Girls” Season 4 won’t premiere until 2015, but HBO has posted a special “Invitation to Set” video that gives a sneak peek at the new season. The trailer opens with Hannah (Lena Dunham) feeling weirdly positive. “Honestly, I feel like I made the right decision, which is a totally new sensation for me,” Hannah says.

The girls are growing up and maturing, according to creator and star Dunham, but they aren’t necessarily making all of the right choices.

1. Hannah’s Fears Aren’t Wrong

Hannah isn’t sure she wants to go to the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She and Adam (Adam Driver) are in a good place — finally — and she doesn’t want to change their relationship. She is worried they won’t be able to survive if they try a long-distance romance. “It turns out she’s justified in that fear,” Dunham explained. “And I’m not going to say she handles it maturely.”

2. Marnie’s Affair

Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) are trying to be a legitimate musical act in “Girls” Season 4. Though Marnie probably shouldn’t offer to rap if she wants anyone to take her seriously. It isn’t just business for this musical duo. They’re having an affair, even though Desi still has a girlfriend.

3. Ray Is Jealous

Ray (Alex Karpovsky) still hasn’t quite gotten over his and Marnie’s friends-with-benefits breakup. It seems he is harboring some feelings for the singer, which causes tension between him and Desi. “His feelings towards Desi, they’re pretty sharply critical,” Karpovsky explained. “It’s sort of an uppercut to him. It’s messy and kind of unexpected.”

4. Shoshanna’s Parents Arrive

Shoshanna’s (Zosia Mamet) mom and dad are nowhere near as positive and light-hearted as their daughter. They'll cause plenty of stress for their daughter. “I sort of always just imagined that she came out of a seashell or a peapod or something, so I literally could not even fathom what they would be like,” Mamet explained. “And they hate each other.”

5. Guest Stars Galore

The “Girls” Season 4 sneak peek gives fans a look at guest stars like Zachary Quinto, Gillian Jacobs, Desiree Akhavan, Peter Mark Kendall and more. They didn’t even fit all of the guest stars in the promo. Viewers also have appearances from “Orange Is The New Black” star Natasha Lyonne and “Parenthood’s” Jason Ritter to look forward to.

6. Elijah Follows Hannah

Hannah is going to Iowa. Whether she stays is another question entirely, but Elijah (Andrew Rannells) is there to help her make a decision. Hannah and Elijah might not do coke at a rave as they did in “Girls” Season 2, but they will sneak into an undergraduate frat party, which is pretty much guaranteed to be a good time.
