It’s been one year since it was confirmed that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were a couple, and the pair seem to be more in love than ever before. “The Voice” judge and the No Doubt singer are often spotted on cute date nights together, and lately can’t stop gushing about each other in interviews.

To celebrate Shelton and Stefani’s romance on their one-year anniversary, we made a timeline detailing the beginning stages of their blossoming romance to their sweetest PDA moments to their super cute interviews about their love.

Halloween 2015: Despite still denying romance rumors, Stefani and Shelton were photographed leaving George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila Halloween party together. According to Entertainment Tonight, the low-key pair arrived at the bash separately, but left in the same vehicle. The outlet also reported that they were seen holding hands but stopped after they spotted a photographer.

Country Music Awards 2015: Right before the CMA Awards on Nov. 4 of last year, a rep for Shelton confirmed that “The Voice” coach is dating the No Doubt singer. Stefani’s rep also released a statement about the romance, stating: “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have recently started dating.”

Luke Bryan Confirms Romance: Although Shelton and Stefani were still denying they were in a relationship, Shelton’s close friend told Entertainment Tonight during a November 2015 interview that the singers were “having fun” together. “I laugh at how the hell he scored Gwen. What I love is the thing that came out, that she [Stefani] didn’t know who the hell he was before ‘The Voice.’ I was like, ‘Well, she was lucky back then.’… They’re having fun and that’s a good thing,” he said.

Dinner Date in December 2015: Shelton and Stefani were seen grabbing a bite to eat at Casa Vega Mexican restaurant in Studio City, California. E! Online reported that they were getting pretty cozy while waiting for the valet to return with their car. You can see their kissing photo here.

Meeting The Parents: Stefani and Shelton took their relationship to the next level by introducing one another to their families. According to a December 2015 report by People magazine, the “Hollaback” singer met Shelton’s mom, Dorothy, during a trip to Shelton’s Oklahoma home. He, in turn, met Stefani’s dad during an outing in Los Angeles.

Christmas 2015: Although it’s not clear if Shelton and Stefani spent Christmas Day together, the pair was spotted out shopping on Christmas Eve. The Atwoods Ranch and Home posted a photo of Stefani and Shelton posing in a parking lot, writing in the caption that they had spent the afternoon “shopping at Madill Atwoods.”

Stefani Writes Song About Shelton: During a Feb. 17 appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Stefani confirmed that her song “Make Me Like You” is about Shelton. “It is about Blake, I will admit that song is about that guy,” she said.

Red Carpet Debut: On Feb. 28, Shelton and his girlfriend made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. They were photographed holding hands as they made their way inside the event.

Stefani Gushes Over Shelton: In a March interview with Refinery 29, Stefani opened up about her connection to Shelton telling the outlet he was a “super-unexpected gift” and he “saved” her.

Shelton Writes A Song With Stefani: Shelton bragged about his song with Stefani, called “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” telling Entertainment Tonight that it’s “as good of a song as I’ve ever written in my life.”

Billboard Music Awards 2016: Shelton and Stefani put their romance front and center during a super sweet performance of “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” for the Billboard Music Awards. They ended the performance by walking off the stage hand in hand.

Shelton Gushes Over Stefani: During a May 26 interview with People magazine, Shelton credited his girlfriend for saving his life after his divorce from Miranda Lambert. “This time last year, there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me, personally,” he said. “There was a point where I thought I didn’t even want to exist anymore.”

Blake Shelton’s Birthday: Stefani celebrated Shelton’s 40th birthday by sharing a throwback picture of him as a child, writing on Twitter: “Happy birthday to my favorite person I ever met @blakeshelton. #Superbabe.”

Wedding Planning Begins: Although Shelton and Stefani aren’t engaged yet, TMZ reported in August that the couple hired celebrity event planner Jerri Woolworth to help plan out their future wedding.

Stefani Comments On Wedding Rumors: During a September appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the “Used To Love You” singer refused to deny or confirm she was getting married to Shelton. When asked about a wedding date, she responded: “Oh, you’re crazy. I’ll let you know.”

Stefani Gushes Over Shelton Again: For Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year” edition this month, Stefani said that she felt like a “failure” after her divorce from Gavin Rossdale but Shelton was an “unexpected gift” during that difficult time. “He was a friend to me when I needed a friend,” she said. “And that became an inspiration in the songwriting … I’ve learned a lot about country music from him.”

Finalizing Wedding Plans: According to a Nov. 4 report by Us Weekly, the couple is really starting to finalize wedding arrangements and recently “met with vendors.” Although an engagement hasn’t been publicly confirmed, a source told the outlet that Shelton and Stefani hope to tie the knot “before the end of the year.”
