Gwen Stefani has found the best person to marry in fiancé Blake Shelton, according to his close friend, Garth Brooks.

Stefani and Shelton announced their engagement in October after five years of dating. The couple hasn't announced a wedding date yet, but his longtime pal already believes Stefani is "extremely lucky" to have the "God Gave Me You" singer as her life partner.

"Blake’s one of those guys that’s got no secrets. He’s not going to change on you," Brooks told "Access Hollywood" Thursday. "He’s going to be the same, which is a blessing. So, I think she’s extremely lucky."

Brooks also said he hopes to get to know Shelton's future wife.

"I love that man, I really do. And I would love to get a chance to know her, because good people hang with good people, and he’s solid," he added.

Last week, Stefani joined Shelton at the 2020 People's Choice Awards where he accepted the top country artist trophy for the second year in a row. However, she stayed in the car and shared several clips while waiting for Shelton.

In one video, Stefani placed her hand on her face, revealing her stunning diamond engagement ring. Shelton reportedly had it customized for her, and several experts estimated that the bling had cost him at least $500,000.

"We're looking at a gorgeous eight-carat, radiant-shape diamond with trapezoid sides — an Art Deco look," Ajay Anand, the founder and CEO of the diamond search engine Rare Carat, explained to Insider in his email. "We're talking $500,000 in all, as the center stone is an icy white D-to-F color diamond.”

Katie Zimmerman, CMO at Blue Nile, offered an even higher value for the sparkler, estimating its price to be between $700,000 to $800,000.

"With the center stone nearly reaching Gwen’s middle knuckle, I estimate the total weight of her engagement ring to be approximately 8-10 carats at a value of $700,000-$800,000, depending on the color and clarity of the diamonds," she said.

Shelton and Stefani met on the set of “The Voice.” They started dating in 2015 and have been together for five years already. In September, the couple moved into the family home in Los Angeles that they purchased for $13.2 million last year.
