Adjusting to life with kids can be challenging, especially with twins, but Amal and George Clooney are doing just fine. The “Ocean’s Eleven” star’s father, now a proud grandfather, couldn’t help but gush about how his son and the renowned human rights lawyer are doing as first-time parents.

In an interview with Good Morning Britain, Nick Clooney opened up about twins Ella and Alexander, calling them “perfect.” He said that George, 56, is going to be a great father — taking a hands on approach — and Amal a terrific mother. The elder Clooney added that he didn’t expect George to shy away from even the dirtiest of parenting jobs saying, “he will do it with humor and with joy.”

“George will be an absolutely wonderful father,” he said. “Amal will be — and already is — a magnificent mother. I’m constantly amazed by her. She is an incredible woman.”

Amal’s parents, Bara and Ramzi Alamuddin, echoed Nick’s statements. Speaking with AFP, a French publication, Ramzi said George and Amal were going to be “great parents.” Bara, who was in London for the delivery, gushed about their perfect grandchildren.

“We are over the moon,” Bara told AFP (via Entertainment Tonight). “It was a beautiful delivery. The babies are beautiful and are doing well.”

While it’s probably going to be a while before the public’s able to catch a glimpse of Amal and George’s twins, we already have some idea which of the proud parents they look like. One day after Ella and Alexander’s birth, Nick opened up to WXIX News in Cincinnati, Ohio about the twins. Nick revealed that he and wife Nina Warren first met their grandkids via video chat. The Oscar winner’s dad said his wife felt the twins, specifically the boy, look a lot like their father.

“They are gorgeous. Nina swears they have George’s nose,” Nick said (via Us Weekly). “Not both of them, one of them. The little boy looked like he had [George’s] nose. His little profile.”

Speaking on their names, Nick told anchor Tricia Macke he was pleased with what Amal and George had chosen. He said he felt Ella and Alexander “sound terrific.” Nick added that the children, and their mother, are looking great in the days since their birth.

“I love their names Alexander and Ella,” she said. “Both sound terrific...They look great, and both George and Amal are doing wonderfully well. Amal is doing terrifically well.
