Although Prince William and Kate Middleton work together to raise their three children, the couple reportedly looks to one person when dealing with their kids’ bad behavior.

It’s no secret that William and Kate adore being parents to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However, their life isn’t perfect, and their children tend to misbehave.

A source told Us Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge depend on Princess Diana’s parent style to correct their children’s errors.

“If the kids misbehave, William often thinks to himself, ‘What would my mom have done in this situation?’” the insider said.

Although Princess Diana died from a car crash in 1997, Prince William continues to share fond memories, and inform his children about the grandmother they never got the chance to meet.

“George and Charlotte know all about their late grandmother and what an amazing woman she was. William tells them she’s watching over them from heaven,” the source explained.

When Prince William was young, Princess Diana went to great lengths to make sure he and Prince Harry enjoyed their childhood. Her efforts made a lasting impression on her sons, and the Duke of Cambridge plans to do the same for his children.

“Diana was such a wonderful mother. William and Kate are doing their best to take after her when it comes to raising George, Charlotte and Louis. They’re determined to give their kids a normal life, just like Diana did,” the insider shared.

Over their years, Prince William and Kate have done their best to protect their children from being overwhelmed by the spotlight on the royal family. Thanks to Princess Diana, the couple has a helpful example to follow when they are faced with difficult moments.
