A lot of celebrities are coming out to support the people who are in dire need amid the COVID-19 pandemic. One of them is none other than Taylor Swift. The acclaimed musician has been sending thousands of money to her fans who have been affected by the deadly disease.

Fans shared screenshots of their PayPal accounts where it can be seen that the “Shake It Off” hitmaker has given $3,000 to those who are sstruggling financially due to the coronavirus outbreak. Billboard confirmed that at least 10 of such payments were made by Swift in the last week of March.

The singer has been living in self-isolation for the past two weeks and has been doing everything she can to prevent the spread of the disease. According to a report, Swift has been spending her time thinking about “new ways” to help people who have been affected badly by the pandemic. On the other hand, the “Lover” singer also revealed that she is cooking and watching a lot of movies while in quarantine.

Speaking in an interview with SiriusXM, Swift also explained that she is in “awe” of all the medical professionals who have been working hard and putting themselves in danger amid the outbreak.

“Obviously, we have a lot of time on our hands right now, with people being out of school, out of work. I have been doing a lot of cooking, a lot of reading, a lot of watching films that I have never seen before. But mostly, I have been online trying to figure out how to help others,” Swift said.

A lot of people are trying a lot of creative ways to stay in touch with their loved ones while staying inside their homes. The “Delicate” hitmaker is also using technology to stay in touch with her loved ones. In the interview, Swift revealed that she has been doing a lot of video chats with her family and friends, making sure that they are doing alright. She believes that it is really important to stay connected.

“A lot of my friends and I have been doing sort of a weekly family FaceTime, which is always hilarious. I think it's really important that we all stay connected because isolation doesn't have to be an all-encompassing thing. We may be isolated, physically, but we can still keep in touch with people,” Swift said.
