Angelina Jolie and her six children had a blast during their recent trip to New York City.

The "Eternals" star and her kids — Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox — flew to the Big Apple earlier this month for a post-birthday celebration after Jolie turned 46 on June 4.

"The kids are growing up and are so close," an unnamed source told People. "They were out to museums and dinner with each other through the trip and had a nice time."

Jolie and her six children were spotted arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport on June 5. The actress was then photographed grabbing food and drinks at Gray's Papaya with sons Pax and Knox, each of them leaving the iconic shop located in the Upper West Side holding a hot dog wrapped in tin foil and a beverage in a cup.

While in New York, Jolie was also photographed entering and leaving the Brooklyn apartment building where her first ex-husband, Jonny Lee Miller, has a home. The exes have remained good friends over the years, according to People.

Miller's son and Knox are friends and that they were also there the night the "Maleficent" star was seen leaving Miller's place, the insider told the outlet.

In photos published by Page Six, Jolie arrived at the building in the Dumbo neighborhood Friday carrying a Louis Vuitton purse and a pricey bottle of Peter Michael wine. She wore a long tan trench coat over what appeared to be an all-white outfit and a face mask.

The "Salt" star arrived alone and without any of her bodyguards, according to Page Six. She reportedly spent three hours at the apartment complex.

Before their NYC outing, Jolie and her children celebrated her birthday by dining at the Los Angeles restaurant TAO. The special dinner was her kids' birthday surprise for her, according to a report.

"They had a great day celebrating at home, and the kids surprised her with a special dinner out," an unnamed source previously told People.

Meanwhile, last month, her ex-husband Brad Pitt was granted joint custody of their children by Judge John Ouderkirk, the private judge hired by the former couple to oversee their case. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star was reportedly very happy with the judge's tentative ruling.

"All he wanted to do was see his kids. For him, it's the most positive results," an unnamed source told E! News. "Brad has always been seeking the opportunity to have more time with his children and prioritized their well-being."
