Rose McIver as Liv
Hilarity ensues when Liv (Rose McIver) and Major (Robert Buckley) interact like a father and daughter duo in a sneak peek from Season 3, episode 2 of “iZombie.” The CW

Things get a little crazier in Season 3, episode 2 of “iZombie” after Liv (Rose McIver) and Major (Robert Buckley) ate the brains of a father and daughter, who both got killed in a car accident.

In a sneak peek from the episode, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) are a bit weirded out when Liv and Major interact with each other while they are under the influence of the brains they just consumed.

“How about turning it down a couple of hundreds decibel?” Liv, who ate the brains of the well-meaning father, asks Major who is playing music loudly in the morgue.

“My god, you’re so embarrassing! … It’s not even that [loud],” replies Major, who munched on the brains of the father’s belligerent teenage daughter.

But when Liv asks Major to turn the volume down once again — this time with more parental authority — Major complies like an obedient juvenile.

In the episode, Clive and Liv investigate the deaths of the father and daughter who got killed after someone seemingly T-boned their car on purpose. As revealed in the trailer for the episode, the father, Stan Chen, was a regional bank manager. So Clive and Liv visits Stan’s workplace to ask around whether or not the victim got some enemies. However, the partners fail to get any leads.

“We talked to all Stan’s co-workers. [But] everybody loved them,” Clive tells Ravi in the sneak peek. “[They said Stan was] enthusiastic and supportive. ... I guess I start looking for his friends at Knights of the Columbus and his bowling league.”

Also in the episode, Clive is brought in for questioning about the murder of Wally (Mataeo Mingo) and his family. Meanwhile, Peyton (Aly Michalka) shows interest in ending her disagreement with Ravi, and Major hits a road block in his search for Natalie (Brooke Lyons).

“iZombie” Season 3, episode 2, titled “Zombie Knows Best,” airs on Tuesday, April 11 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW. Watch the sneak peek below:
