Jason Momoa’s fans would love to support his new project, but some of them won’t be watching the “Aquaman” sequel because of Amber Heard.

The "Justice League" star updated his Instagram Sunday by sharing a video where he talked about his hair color. Apparently, he is ditching his brown hair for blond locks as part of his preparations for the new movie.

Instead of commenting on his hair update, several of his followers grabbed the opportunity to inform him that they won’t be watching the film because they’re not happy that the producers brought back Heard as Mera in the sequel.

"I'm so sad because I love you and I really wanna watch this but I'm sorry I can't support anything Amber Heard is in after what she's done," one wrote.

"I absolutely love you but I won't in good conscience go see any of the aquaman film while Amber Heard is still involved," another added.

"I really wish they had made the right decision and recast Mera. I love what you do, man. But I won’t support her or those that do. #amberheardisanabuser," a third user wrote.

"I'm a huge fan, but I'm sorry Jason- I'm gonna have to boycott this. Best of luck to you! Cant wait to watch your next movie," another netizen added.

Although many wished Heard's role as Mera was recast, Heard's supporters were glad that she's still part of the film.

"We stand with you. We love you Amber heard is mera. I am waiting for Aquman2 and amber heard's mera," one tweeted.

"I love Amber Heard! Also, dressed up as Queen Mera for the billion-dollar film, 'AQUAMAN 2'!" another wrote.

"@realamberheard i've loved you since the [day] i met you at never back down...i'll love you forever...i'm so glad to know that you're still gonna be as mera at Aquaman 2...don't ever leave us ... beautiful Amber...thank God for [your existence]," a third user stated.

"Okay, I love Emilia Clark, but for everyone who said she would be perfect for Mera: if she was to take that photo, she would have had to stand on a box or [she'd] be hugging Momoa's a-- (not that that would be terrible!) Amber & Jason look great together! Can't wait!" another fan added.

Many "Aquaman" fans were not happy with Heard reprising her role. In fact, they previously urged the producers to fire the actress when they started filming last month, following her legal battle with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

"Aquaman 2" is set to hit theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.
