  • Jennifer Lopez denied that she had Botox and stressed she never had injectables
  • The "On The Floor" singer encouraged others to be positive, kind and uplifting
  • Lopez discouraged her followers from bringing others down for them to be beautiful and youthful

Jennifer Lopez addressed the speculations that she got Botox and offered unsolicited advice to her critics.

The "Maid in Manhattan" star shared a clip on Instagram of her taking off the face mask that her beauty line JLo Beauty manufactures. In the clip, she said she has no visible lines and joked that they would charge $10,000 for them. Several accused Lopez of getting Botox after seeing her youthful look, but she vehemently denied such claims.

"LOL that's just my face," she commented. "For the 500 millionth time...I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!! Just saying. Get you some JLO Beauty and feel beautiful in your own skin!!"

Several were not convinced that the "On The Floor" singer just used a face mask and many mocked her. So, she offered "another JLO beauty secret" that wouldn't cost them a single penny.

"Try spending your time being more positive, kind and uplifting of others," Lopez wrote. "Don't spend your time trying to bring others down that will keep you youthful and beautiful too!!! Sending you love. #beautyfromtheinsideout #beautyhasnoexpirationdate.”

Lopez's posts on Instagram received mixed responses from her followers. Many praised her, but one said it's not wrong for women to have wrinkles on their faces and Lopez's message might be misinterpreted by young girls. Another directly accused the singer-actress of having Botox.

"Of course she does Botox. Her forehead hasn’t moved for years. Frozen. She has lied about this. Thinks we are idiots. Lost credibility," the Instagram user commented.

Lopez, 51, shared that she and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez love skin care. In fact, there were times when their shared fondness for it led to petty arguments.

"He loves skincare products," Lopez told E! News.

"As we were trying all of the products, he was always like, 'What are you doing? What are you using? Let me get two. Give me some. Give me some! Don't be cheap, come on.' I'm like, 'It's a sample! I have to try it for five days. Like, leave it alone!' And we would be fighting over the products.”

Lopez said that one of her favorite beauty products is available in the kitchen, referring to olive oil. Lopez said it's a good ingredient for hydration and it can be used for skin, body and hair.
