Jennifer Lopez has given an update on “World of Dance” and “Marry Me.”

Lopez’s reality dancing competition “World of Dance” Season 4 will premiere on NBC next week. Aside from that, she will be starring in a romantic comedy movie “Marry Me.” Thus, she is working even if she’s at home.

In a recent interview with Variety, Lopez shared how they shoot “World of Dance” finale without an audience. According to her, they were not expecting that the show would wrap up that way.

“It was Tuesday or Wednesday and we were supposed to be finishing on Sunday, but they came to us and said, ‘We have to finish by Friday. The building is closing down,’” Lopez shared.

“I was like, ‘What?’ It was that week when things got really real. Then they said, ‘We’re going to do the finale without an audience.’ It was all so new. We did the finale and then I got on a plane and came home and that’s where I’ve been ever since.”

Lopez found it hard and added that they tried their best to make it what it should have been especially for those who fought so hard to be there but without an audience to cheer on them. Nevertheless, the winner still walked away with $1 million, so for her, there was still happiness.

Lopez also shared how they shoot for her upcoming film “Marry Me” with Colombian singer Maluma. According to the “On the Floor” singer, they did it while in quarantine.

“It was me at home and Maluma in Colombia. We weren’t sure how it was going to work out,” Lopez said.

“Someone came in and set up a camera and lights, and then left because of social distancing. We had a Zoom call. I start doing the scene with Maluma and we’re hearing echoers and we’re all like, ‘Everyone has to mute.’ (Laughs) We were just figuring it out as we go. We got through the scene. It’s going to be in the movie. It’s not the ideal way of filmmaking, but we got it done.”

Lopez is quarantining with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, her twins Max and Emme, and his daughters Natasha and Ella. On Mother’s Day, Lopez shared snaps of her with Max and Emme. In the caption, she wrote, “my biggest challenge and my greatest triumph.”
