JoJo Siwa is still gushing over her exciting experience at the "Dancing With The Stars" where she and partner Jenna Johnson made history as the first same-sex pair. The dancer says the show helped her become more confident and made her feel like she "came out" for the second time.

"I miss it so much, it's actually insane. I text Jenna every day about how much I miss it. I post everyday about how much I miss it. It was just such a good experience," JoJo told ET's Denny Directo at the red carpet event of the iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball concert Friday.

"I feel like I'm just more self-aware and I feel like I'm more confident. I feel like I'm less scared of myself," she told ET. She also thanked Johnson for guiding her in the dance show, saying, "[She we] able to come out of my shell. I came out once again! Second time around."

The 18-year-old Nickelodeon star said while she was aware that she was making a positive impact on those who were watching the show, she "had no idea what it was going to do for me, personally."

JoJo and Johnson danced their way to the finals and were an audience favorite in the show. But on the finals night, they ended up as season 30's runners-up after Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach emerged as winners and took home the Mirrorball trophy. Still, the "Dance Moms" star told the outlet that working with Johnson itself was a victory.

Jojo's mom, Jessalynn Siwa, also attended the Jingle Ball concert at The Forum in Inglewood, California, and walked on the red carpet with her daughter.

"[I was] unbelievably proud, every night. It was amazing," Jessalynn said.

While she is still navigating the experiences of being a mom to a celebrity who is a part of the LGBT community, Jessalyn said she fully supports JoJo in her decision.

"It's all new to me and I'm just embracing it with everything I can do," Jessalynn told ET. "I just want JoJo to be happy and I want her to know that I love her unconditionally and I'm excited for it."
