Fans were ecstatic to hear that another “Jurassic World” starring Chris Pratt is in the works. Here are five major reasons why we can't wait to see “Jurassic Park 5.”

*WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!*

5. T-Rex and Blue Friendship?

We loved that we saw the original T-Rex from the first “Jurassic Park” movie in the fourth film in the JP franchise equipped with the same body and face, all the way down to the original scars she received in the first movie. However, where did she go at the end?

(SPOILER) At the end of the movie, Blue ran off and seemed to follow in the direction that the original T-Rex went. Are they going to become best friends and wander the island together? It would be great to know (and see) this!

4. More Dinosaurs of course! We absolutely loved all the dinosaurs in this movie, especially the Raptors and the huge water dino Mosasaurus (Did you see her jaws? They were huge!). So we want to see more!

3. Dr. Wu left off with the dinosaur embryos. What happened after that? Is he breeding his own dinosaur species? Will dinosaurs live on somewhere else? See, we need answers to all of these questions!

2. It broke box office records

That’s right, and we are sure you heard about it already, but we will go over it again because it’s pretty impressive. Just 13 days after its release date on June 12, “Jurassic World” hit the $1 billion mark in sales worldwide, passing the record held by “Fast and Furious 7,” which did it in 17 days. Also, the film starring Chris Pratt holds the record of reaching $400 million in just 10 days at the domestic box office, smashing the record of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” It also passed “Age of Ultron” with the biggest domestic opening weekend ever, pulling in $208.8 million, and passed the superhero flick in having the highest domestic second weekend gross. These stats definitely call for a sequel!

1. More Chris Pratt

Pratt was phenomenal in “Jurassic World,” so it’s only natural that we want to see more of him and his character Owen. We also have questions: How did his onscreen romance with Dallas Bryce Howard, who plays Claire in the film, turn out? (SPOILER) They left together at the end of the movie, almost like in happily-ever-after mode. Did they open a dinosaur kingdom of their own? Do they have dinosaur pets? We need to know these things!

“Jurassic World 2” is set to hit theaters June 22, 2018.
