Some stars are excited to move on when franchises come to an end, but that’s not the case for Bryce Dallas Howard. The actress is set to film the third “Jurassic World” movie next year, but she isn’t ready for the hit movie series to be over just yet.

“I want more,” she admitted to International Business Times in April while promoting Tide Purclean.

For Howard, who starred in both 2015’s “Jurassic World” and 2017’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” it’s really about the relationships she has forged with her fellow filmmakers. She loves the cast and crew that has been assembled and looks forward to heading back to set.

“The friendships and the family that has been built over time” are what the “Rocketman” star told IBT she enjoys most about the franchise.

“To be going into a third movie and to feel just as much excitement and support and kind of wonder and awe as I did the first time, that says a lot,” she explained. “I love [co-star] Chris Pratt. He’s my brother, you know, I just love him. I love [director] Colin Trevorrow so much, and [executive producer] Steven Spielberg certainly doesn’t suck.”

The Claire Dearing actress made it clear that the “Jurassic Park” series is a delight for her. “It is absolutely wonderful. I have nothing to complain about, ever, when it comes to that franchise,” she emphasized.

As previously reported, Howard loves epic storytelling and movies with big mythology. However, the mother of two also loves movies that use advanced technology. She directed an episode of the new Star Wars TV series “The Mandalorian,” set to premiere on Disney+ in November, and she revealed that she wants to direct more projects that use special effects and push technology forward.

“So I’ve had this secret career for several years now where I work in emerging technology, where I would test cameras and lenses and just try to, you know, push the technology and learn from people who are pushing the technology,” she shared. “For instance in VR, Chris Milk is this incredible filmmaker who’s been really, really, really pushing that. And John Favreau with everything that he's been doing on ‘The Mandalorian’ and everything that he had done with ‘Jungle Book’ and ‘The Lion King,’ he is pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I can barely work my phone, but it is so exhilarating to me.

Like when I saw ‘Jurassic Park’ when I was 12 years old in the movie theater opening weekend, I bawled my eyes out and it was because of the technology. It was because the dinosaurs looked real and we’d gotten to that point and I knew that cinema had been changed forever. I was like overcome with emotion. I really, I really love new, groundbreaking technology. I love the spectacle.”

“Jurassic World 3” is set to hit theaters June 11, 2021.
