It’s impossible for the “Avengers 4” cast to do an interview without being asked about the upcoming movie, but podcast host Michael Rosenbaum didn’t dig for spoilers. Instead, he wanted the scoop on who the coolest cast members are when he interviewed Nebula actress Karen Gillan.

First, Rosenbaum, who had a small part in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” asked if she would return in the next installment. Gillan, who has been in both “Guardians” movies as well as “Avengers: Infinity War,” said that she hadn’t actually heard if she’ll be in the third film. She assumes she will be, but she added that she didn’t want to chat too much about the future flick.

“I feel like if I talk too much about this it’s going to give away the next ‘Avengers’ movie,” the “Doctor Who” alum said on Tuesday’s episode of “Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum.”

Rosenbaum decided to focus on her co-stars, asking her who was the coolest cast member that she wanted to hang out with on set. It seems Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo is a lot more fun than his onscreen character.

“Mark Ruffalo is pretty funny. Yeah, he’s way more child-like in personality than I expected,” she revealed on the podcast. “He was just kind of like a cheeky, cheeky child. Like, running around full of mischief.”

The movie has an all-star cast, but Gillan, who recently made her directorial debut with “The Party’s Just Beginning,” said that didn’t affect her much. “It is cool to see all of those people together in one room, but then you’re with them for 15 hours a day. So that wears off pretty quickly,” she mentioned.

Still, she had a great time, calling Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson “a cool chick” and Iron Man portrayer Robert Downey Jr. “amazing.” She noted that the latter was the social planner.

“He was great because he makes everybody be sociable,” she said. “He hosts these lunches where we would all go and socialize with each other instead of going back to our trailers. And he would give us delicious food from his chef, and so we were all really happy about that.”

While Gillan was on set with Downey in “Avengers: Infinity War,” she didn’t share any scenes with Johansson or Ruffalo. Does that mean Nebula is going to meet the Hulk and Black Widow in “Avengers 4”? It’s pretty likely. After all, it’s just her and Tony Stark left on Titan, and Iron Man is going to need someone with a ship to fly him home. It wouldn’t be surprising if Nebula ends up working with the remaining Avengers.

“Avengers 4,” which still doesn’t have an actual title, is set to hit theaters in May 2019. “Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum” releases new episodes every Tuesday.
