Katy Perry is officially a mother. The singer just gave birth to her and fiancé Orlando Bloom's baby girl.

On Wednesday, UNICEF shared a photo of two hands holding a baby's tiny little hand on Instagram. In the caption, the organization announced the arrival of Perry and Bloom's bundle of joy.

"Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy," UNICEF wrote.

The new parents also released a statement about their new milestone as a couple.

"We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," Bloom and Perry told the organization.

"But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was."

The couple acknowledged the shortage of healthcare workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the number of women and newborns who die every eleven seconds mostly from preventable causes.

They are also aware that many newborns are at risk due to lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines, and they empathize with the struggling parents. So, the couple set up a donation page to celebrate their daughter's arrival in partnership with UNICEF to help expectant moms get access to quality healthcare.

"As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare," Perry and Bloom continued.

"In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your can bloom with generosity."

On Aug. 16, Perry treated her fans by giving them a glimpse of her daughter's pink-themed nursery room.

"Hey everyone, I'm going to show you my baby room," Perry said in the video she shared online.

The "Roar" singer then showed her fans some baby items including the crib, rocking chair and changing area. Perry also presented some of her baby’s outfits including a onesie with Bloom's face.

Perry was among the celebrities who defended Ellen DeGeneres amid the toxic workplace complaints against the latter’s talk show. The "Fireworks" singer made it clear that she was not undermining other people's experiences but was only speaking about her encounter with the host.
