Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Update: ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Star Beefs Up Security After Encounter With Odom
Reality television star Khloe Kardashian has tightened her security after an encounter with former husband Lamar Odom in August. Production staff at “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” hired more bodyguards for the 31-year-old after Odom confronted her, Radar Online reported Sunday.
“Nobody was going to take any chances with Khloe's safety, so the decision was made to hire bodyguards. Of course, the whole drama is going to be a storyline for the upcoming season,” source told Radar Online. “Khloe didn't want to pay for a bodyguard out of her own pocket when she wasn't filming, but she hasn't been alone since the incident with Lamar,” the source added.
“Khloe feels very secure at her mansion because she lives in a gated community, and her mansion is also behind gates. She has cameras all over the property as well. Her brother Rob Kardashian and boyfriend James Harden are constantly around,” the insider reportedly said.
Odom approached Kardashian when she was heading for a workout on August 12, according to Radar Online. He tried talking to her, but Kardashian kept walking away from him. He then reportedly grabbed her arm and she shouted at him saying, "Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop.” She then got into her car and drove away.
Apart from this, Kardashian has been at the receiving end of her neighbors' wrath in California’s affluent seaside community Marina del Rey. Residents are suing Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner for an extravagant fireworks display late August to celebrate her rumored boyfriend James Harden’s birthday.
The residents alleged that the fireworks caused them emotional distress. One resident reportedly said her child ''freaked out," while another claimed her multiple sclerosis deteriorated since the fireworks show.
