“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian is a changed woman after she was held at gunpoint in a Paris hotel Oct. 3. The reality star has barely been spotted in public and hasn’t posted on social media since she was gagged, handcuffed and locked in a bathroom during the estimated $11 million heist. It’s a drastic departure from her old behavior and she’s probably not going to go back to the way she was anytime soon — or at all.

“She has zero desire to resume her old life,” an insider told People Magazine in an exclusive report Wednesday. Kardashian, 35, “is still having a difficult time,” the insider added.

Kardashian’s reclusive behavior is a drastic departure of her old ways. “Kim’s whole life has basically changed,” the source said. “Before, she was like a social butterfly. Now she acts much more withdrawn.”

Her career is in limbo: “KUWTK” is on hiatus and she canceled all her upcoming gigs. “Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do,” an insider said. “She has no plans for any public appearances.”

Even though her 36 birthday is Friday, she doesn’t want to celebrate publicly. “She just wants to be with her kids and out of public,” the source said. “No one is pressuring her either. She has the best support from her family.”

Since her husband, rapper Kanye West, is on his Saint Pablo tour, Kardashian is staying with her mother, Kris Jenner. Her children, North West, 3, and Saint, 10 months, are with her, too.

“It's a process,” Jenner told E! Online at Khloé Kardashian’s Good American denim launch Tuesday. “One day at a time. It's a process.” Jenner added she is “doing what a mother does” to make her rattled daughter feel safe.
