“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kourtney Kardashian dumped her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick for good, but it doesn’t mean they can’t get along. The reality star opened up about her personal life during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Friday.

Kardashian, 36, has been separated from the father of her three children for six months after he was caught cheating on her over Fourth of July weekend. Despite the infidelity, Kardashian is willing to be cordial for their children: Mason, 6; Penelope, 3; and Reign, 13 months.

“I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together … He’s family,” she told DeGeneres. “He’ll always be.” When asked if they were in a relationship again, Kardashian confirmed they were broken up. “We’re not together,” she said.

Even though they’re trying to co-parent, communicating with an ex doesn’t always come easy. “Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I’m generally not a nervous person but I get anxious,” she wrote on her website last month, according to Us Weekly. “I also get nauseated; I feel like I can’t eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy … One thing I’ve found that really helps is working out.”

Kardashian was tied to Justin Bieber after her split with Disick, though the Kardashian camp didn’t confirm it. Disick purportedly moved on with Swedish model Lena Sandberg, but they have supposedly broken up.

“KUWTK” Season 11 airs on E! every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
