Lamar Odom's health seems to be steadily improving. Just weeks after leaving the hospital, the former basketball player went on a morning hike with his estranged wife Khloé Kardashian and sister-in-law Kim Kardashian West.

Kardashian West, 35, shared a photo of a long outdoor trail, writing in the caption, "Super Soul Sunday time before Super Bowl Sunday time with Khloé & Lamar.”

Khloé didn't post anything on social media about her hike with Odom, but the 31-year-old reality star shared a message on Instagram about people overcoming their "trials and tribulations."

"Everything happens for a reason... Right?! I'm a firm believer of this saying," she wrote. "We may not understand why we have to walk a certain path or why when it rains, it pours but trust that God has a plan. ’Walk by faith, not by sight.' We must lose in order to gain. Lessons are best taught through our darkest hour ... All my pain or sadness has only built my strength, soul, character and wisdom. One day, all of our trials and tribulations will add up and make perfect sense."

Khloé has been giving fans updates on Odom's health and said last week during an appearance on "Live! With Kelly & Michael" that he was doing "great."

“It’s such a relief,” she said. “It was terrifying and scary. No one knew what was going to happen. And what’s crazy is because he’s an athlete, I really think having so many years of working out every single day – he wasn’t even walking three weeks ago, and now he’s walking.”

She continued, “He’s trying, and he’s really making great strides. And that’s a testament to his own will and desire to get better.”

Odom was released from Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Jan. 6 after being found unconscious in October at a Nevada brothel.
