KEY POINTS

  • The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild was released in 2017
  • The game is exclusively available on Nintendo Switch and Wii
  • There is an exploit in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild that enables players to duplicate essential in-game items

Recently, several 'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild' players reported a new exploit that enables them to duplicate special items like the Spirit Orb, Korok seeds and even armor, which could be a game-changer.

How The Glitch Works

The newly uncovered exploit stems from the successfully activated Memory Storage glitch. This is actually for 'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild' players before they could use the duplication exploit, thanks to GamingReinvented. In Memory Storage, players can keep the Bow of Light and skip several areas of the game, a process that tricks the game’s data to carry over different save files.

When players are on a new save file, they have to place the travel medallion on Eventide Island, look for a shrine that they have not yet beaten, obtain the Spirit Orb and quit the game. After that, players have to reload the saved file, start the Eventide Island quest and give up immediately. Checking the inventory will reveal that players’ Spirit Orbs are still there although the shrine from where players got won’t be marked complete.

The process can be applied to duplicate any items players get through a cutscene, which includes Korok seeds and different forms of armor. 'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild' has 120 Spirit Orbs and four more in The Champions Ballad DLC. There are 900 Korok seeds that players can collect in the game without using the duplication glitch. Under ordinary circumstances, players can trade four Spirit Orbs to upgrade their total Hearts or their Stamina. But they need to pray to Goddess Statues in order to do that. Players could have 30 Hearts but without the duplication glitch, the amount to upgrade the player’s stamina is limited.

Meanwhile, players need 441 Korok Seeds to fully upgrade their storage capacity in the game. They can find Hetsu and trade Korok Seeds to upgrade their inventory space. 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' was released in 2017 and is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii.
