Lindsay Lohan found herself in a messy drama that has nothing to do with her outspoken political views. She’s gotten herself mixed up with the law again, and this time it’s for lying to authorities.

A day after Lohan’s presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, lost the election, news has broke that Lohan might find herself in the slammer again if she doesn’t watch herself, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

The gossip website reveals that Lohan’s friends say the actress believes the cops are out to get her and that she doesn’t believe she has done anything wrong, this time at least.

Now she insists that she wasn’t driving during her infamous Pacific Coast Highway crash where she smashed her Porshe into a 18-wheeler last June.

Multiple sources say that they saw the troubled Long Island native slam into the truck on PCH, but Lohan is sticking to her story.

If found guilty of lying, the ginger star will be charged with a misdemeanor and could end up in jail.

She admitted to friends that she’s “terrified” to go back and she has good reason to be worried.

Judge Stephanie Sautner made it clear that if Lohan violates her probation she’ll be locked up.

Peres Hilton quoted Lohan as saying:

“One car accident could ruin everything for me.”

Lohan has failed to take responsibility for anything that she’s done. When Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes seemed to evade trouble with the law Lohan took to her Twitter to post her distaste for the matter, alleging that she’s the only one whoever gets in trouble.

When she first started getting into trouble after she “borrowed” jewelry from a store without asking, Lohan found it hard to believe that the authorities weren’t on her side and wanted to prosecute her for her actions.

With an attitude like that it seems unlikely that Lohan will ever get out of the vicious cycle.
