Lisa Marie Presley wanted her children to inherit her trust, a report has claimed, despite the late singer's mother Priscilla Presley questioning the "authenticity and validity" of her will.

Upon the death of the only child of Elvis Presley on Jan. 12, she left her trust to her three daughters, Riley Keough, 33, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, 14. Lisa Marie's son Benjamin Keough died in 2020. The trust includes Elvis' Graceland property and 15% ownership of Elvis' estate.

People quoted an unnamed "friend" of the late singer as claiming that Lisa Marie's "intent" to leave her trust to her kids was "very clear."

"Lisa really didn't feel that Priscilla was doing anything in her best interest," the insider claimed, adding, "Lisa lived her life authentically... She wouldn't remain quiet when she was being taken advantage of. At the end of the day, these are her wishes, and there's no question as to what her wishes were. No one's going to be able to reinvent the last seven or eight years and say no, no, no."

Lawyers for Priscilla filed a petition Thursday contesting her late daughter's will. The petition disputed a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's will that removed her mother and her former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and replaced them with Riley, her brother Benjamin and her twin sisters. Riley's rep could not be reached for comment, according to People.

Priscilla's court filing raised several alleged issues in Lisa Marie's amended will, including a failure to notify Priscilla of the change as required, a misspelling of Priscilla's name in a document supposedly signed by her daughter, an atypical signature from Lisa Marie and a lack of a witness or notarization. It asks a judge to declare the amendment invalid.

The petition said that Siegel intended to resign, which according to the prior terms of the trust would leave Priscilla and Lisa Marie's daughter Riley as co-trustees.

But Lisa Marie's "friend" claimed to People that the late singer "did not have a relationship" with her mother by the time the 2016 amendment was made.

The supposed pal claimed that among the reasons the mother and daughter allegedly had a falling out was that Priscilla continued to have a relationship with Michael Lockwood even after he and Lisa Marie divorced in 2016.

Lockwood, who has the same publicist as Priscilla, was reportedly not invited to Lisa Marie's funeral but was able to attend with Priscilla's help, according to the insider.

Lisa Marie had filed a lawsuit in 2018 alleging that Siegel had mismanaged the $100 million trust she inherited from her dad Elvis. However, the business manager accused Lisa Marie of "squandering" her fortune with her "excessive spending" habits.

Lisa Marie's "friend" told People that there is "substantial documentation" showing that the late singer was the "only trustee" by the time she had passed away and that Priscilla "did not participate in anything, as [Siegel also] hadn't for years before."

"At the end of the day, a trustee is supposed to have limited power — they're supposed to not be able to do anything bad or stupid. No one can argue that Riley being the trustee is going to not be to the benefit of the twins," the source added.

Lisa Marie shared Riley and Benjamin with her ex-husband Danny Keough. She shared twins Harper and Finley with Lockwood, whom she divorced in 2021.

Page Six also quoted an unnamed "friend" of Lisa Marie as claiming that Priscilla's move to contest the late singer's will was allegedly "strictly a money grab."

"[Lisa Marie] had no relationship with Priscilla, Michael Lockwood or her half-brother [Navarone Garibaldi]," the alleged friend claimed to the outlet.

The source also said that despite attending, Lockwood was not invited to his ex-wife's Jan. 22 memorial and was not mentioned at all during the service.
