Lizzo is all set to drop the music video for her new track "Rumors" Friday. Ahead of its official release, the 33-year-old singer has debunked claims that Harry Styles would be in the video, revealing it is featuring Cardi B instead.

The singer took to Instagram on Monday to share a close-up of her and Cardi B's lips, as well as their long golden nails.

In the photo, Cardi B could be seen licking her right hand's index finger. Meanwhile, Lizzo kept her left hand's index finger close to her lips. The "Good as Hell" singer wore two massive golden rings, which were clearly visible in the photo.

"'RUMORS' feat @iamcardib ___ THIS FRIDAY 8/13," she wrote in the caption.

Cardi B reacted to the post by commenting, "We really did that."

Other celebrities also showed support for Lizzo -- by liking the post or leaving a comment on it.

One of them was plus-side model Tess Holliday, who wrote, "YEESS." La'shaunae, another plus-size model, noted, "Yup."

Amid the praises, some fans brought up the rumor claiming Styles would appear in the music video.

"Harry looks different here," a fan wrote. "So very upset it's not Harry," another chimed in.

However, the said rumor was dispelled on the same day when Lizzo FaceTimed Cardi B to announce their collaboration on Instagram.

The rumor reportedly popped up when Lizzo shared a new tune on TikTok over the weekend and fans started discussing in the comments that Styles would be featured in the song since he's friends with the "Truth Hurts" singer.

Their friendship became public when Styles made a cover of Lizzo's "Juice" in December 2019. Styles even praised Lizzo during a BBC Radio 1 interview saying, Lizzo is "exactly what you want an artist to be."

In response, Lizzo shared the clip of Styles' interview in an Instagram Story, with the caption, "This is so cute @harrystyles ily. You know what this means right . . .?" She also added a wink emoji to her post, seemingly teasing at a collaboration between the two of them.

Only a few months ago, Lizzo made headlines for sending Chris Evans a flirty DM. Then, earlier this month, the singer posted a TikTok video in which she pretended to be pregnant with Evans' baby.

Evan's response to her video was hilarious. He wrote, "Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy. My mother will be so happy lol."

Whether through her music or on social media, it seems Lizzo really knows how to keep her fans entertained.
