‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Amina Buddafly Considers Quitting VH1 Show Over Tara Wallace And Peter Gunz Drama [VIDEO]
Amina Buddafly seems to have finally had enough of her love triangle with Peter Gunz and Tara Wallace. For three seasons of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” the former singer has dealt with her husband cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend.
Things between the trio escalated on Season 6 when Amina announced in episode 2 that she was pregnant again but later revealed she had an abortion because of the drama between her, Peter and Tara. Then earlier this week, Tara dropped a bombshell announcing she's expecting her third child with Peter.
In a video posted to VH1 Thursday, Amina opened up about her and Peter's marriage and hinted that she's not sure she wants to keep airing her dirty laundry on the reality show.
“I don’t even know how to put it into words, but it’s like a never-ending thing with Peter," she said. "It seems that every time you think it can’t get any worse, it just gets worse."
She continued, "Actually, I have given thought to not return for another season because of, you know, the emotional drain that is happening, or that has happened… that is happening again. I thought about removing myself and not doing it again, but it’s like we’ve already done it, we already put everything out there."
Amina called her situation with Tara and Peter "unbelievable" and said it's been "very rough emotionally" to deal with it.
"It is what it is," she said. "So maybe this will be my last time, but we’ll see.”
Earlier this week, Amina and Tara got into an argument on social media after Tara shared a photo of her baby bump. Amina slammed Tara for keeping her pregnancy a secret from Peter for so long, while the etiquette coach fired back alleging that Amina only married Peter so she could become an American citizen.
“Whether I found out at 18, 8, or 1 week [pregnant] I was keeping my baby. No one can make me do anything,” Tara tweeted.
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
