‘Lucifer’ Season 2
Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) had multiple scenes with Lucifer (Tom Ellis), but she has yet to reunite with Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) in “Lucifer” Season 2. FOX

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 2 recently saw Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) opening up to her son, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis).

In “Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress On Fire,” Lucifer is still obviously plagued with age-old mommy issues. So when he comes face-to-face with Charlotte, Lucifer has mixed feelings over their encounter. Charlotte tells Lucifer about what happened to her, but Lucifer immediately assumes that she's lying to him. No matter how many times Charlotte tries to convince him that she’s not in Los Angeles to harm anyone, Lucifer just doesn’t trust what she's saying. But he has a good reason for not buying Charlotte's story.

By the end of episode 2, Charlotte thinks that she's already convinced Lucifer that she's harmless and can be allowed to stay on Earth for good. But as soon as Lucifer turns his back, Charlotte starts smirking, which might be a big red sign that she has something evil planned. But whatever it is that Charlotte has up her sleeve will be slowly unveiled in the upcoming episodes.

Meanwhile, “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 2 also sees Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German) having a serious conversation. Chloe’s daughter Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) gets into trouble for destroying her doll just so she could get a new and more expensive one. Lucifer finds out about what Trixie did and decides to give Trixie the very pricey doll. Chloe isn't happy with the fact that Lucifer is meddling with how she’s raising her daughter so she confronts Lucifer about it. Chloe tells Lucifer that sometimes having a child means they won’t always be happy with how they are being raised, according to TV Fanatic.

In other news, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) is slowly losing his angel wings. Throughout the episode, feathers from his wings keep falling off. Towards the end, Amenadiel looks at himself in the mirror and sees that his wings are lighter than usual. He screams at the top of his lungs in despair, worried about having to stay on Earth for the rest of his life. Previously, Amenadiel had encouraged Lucifer to return to Hell, but the latter refused. Now, he's worried that he might be the one to get an extended stay on Earth.

“Lucifer” Season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
