Anna Cardwell felt “betrayed” after she heard her mother Mama June Shannon was allegedly dating sex offender Mark McDaniel, the same man who Cardwell said went to jail for a decade for molesting her as a child. Cardwell sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she gave her candid opinion on the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” scandal.

"Mama's not supposed to be around him! She just knows!" the TLC reality star said. "And she let him get around Alana and Pumpkin!" In addition to Cardwell, 20, Shannon has three other daughters: Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, 9; Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, 14; and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, 18.

Shannon and McDaniel have been photographed together in several pictures. In one of them, McDaniel looks like he has his hand on the shoulder of Alana. Sugar Bear, who is her father, reportedly wants to get custody of his daughter amid the allegations.

Shannon denies that she is dating McDaniel, but Cardwell doesn’t seem to believe her. "She never told me she believes me," Cardwell told ET. "She never said, 'Hey Anna, I'm sorry for not believing you and I still don't believe you to this day.'"

"It's like she's happy. She's smiling and laughing and giggling when he's around," Cardwell told ET of Shannon. "'You know, he's a child molester, Mama,'" she said. "'He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?'"

Cardwell has complicated feelings since her mother allegedly got back together with McDaniel. "It's Mama's fault. She has to live with it," Cardwell told ET. "She has [brought] the past back and now she can't get it away. It gives me a lot of emotions. I'm mad. I'm upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That's the main thing that I am -- I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around."

TLC canceled the show after the allegations. "TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being," the cable network said in a statement.

Cardwell’s interview with ET is scheduled to air Thursday.
