‘Masters Of Sex’ Season 4 Spoilers: Showtime Releases Season Premiere Photos; Shows Bill In Court

“Masters Of Sex” Season 4 is just around the corner. Season 3 ended with Dr. William “Bill” Masters losing his partner, Virginia Johnson, his family and his practice. Bill confessed that he was unfaithful to his wife Libby in the final moments of the Showtime series, but he was shocked to learn that his wife already knew about his indiscretions.

Season 4 will kick off with a time-jump in which Bill (Michael Sheen) is seen battling in court in order to keep his practice. He was accused of prostitution and pedophilia. Showtime released a fresh batch of photos of the season premiere which shows Sheen’s character appearing in court. The usually arrogant and put-together doctor is seen sporting a beard and an unkempt look.

It’s no surprise Bill is down in the dumps since he has hit rock bottom in his personal and professional life. However, he is still seen consulting patients and making Betty (Annaleigh Ashford) run around the office.

Bill will be forced to attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings. Niecy Nash will play the role of the AA chairperson who runs Masters’ court-ordered daily meetings.

The Season 4 cast photos also show Bill’s estranged wife Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) who is no longer worried about him leaving her. Free from the shackles of her marriage, Libby is sure to take on new partners personally and explore her identity without her husband.

However, the Season 4 premiere photos also tease a Bill and Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) reunion! The former love birds are seen talking to each other. The upcoming season of “Masters Of Sex” will see the sex researchers rebuild their burned bridges.
