Meet Amabella DelVecchio: Former 'Jersey Shore' Cast Member Pauly D Reveals Secret Love Child

It seems Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi isn’t the only former “Jersey Shore” denizen making an honest life for herself. Paul DelVecchio, aka DJ Pauly D, recently revealed that he's the father of a baby girl.

Page Six reports that the child was conceived during a night out in Las Vegas. Pauly D, 33, had a residency gig at the Vegas Hard Rock last year, and it was during a night of partying that he met the future mother of his child.

The reality star mixmaster confirmed to New York’s Daily News that the love child is only a few months old and the mother is a 26-year-old New Jerseyan. She made DelVecchio take a paternity test, but he now says fatherhood is a role that he is excited to fill.

He told TMZ, “I am a proud father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.” But Pauly and the mother had no prior relationship. A source tells E! News, “He wasn’t exactly planning for it to happen it that way, but God works in mysterious ways.”

The new dad is, however, hoping to develop a relationship with the newborn's mother.

Pauly may have to make room in his life now for some other than gym, tanning, and laundry, but he tells E! News he always wanted children. In 2012, when “Snooki” was pregnant with baby Lorenzo, the DJ told People, "I want to be Uncle Pauly. ... And I want to be a part of that baby's life, because Snooki is one of my best friends now, and I'd love to be with her when she's delivering the baby, and I'd love to baby-sit."

The mother of the child picked the baby girl’s name, Amabella, InTouch reports. This is the mother’s second child. The children live with the mother in Atlantic City.
