Many fans noticed that Meghan Markle was not positioned along with Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles during the Remembrance Day Service on Sunday. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that the Duchess of Sussex stood afar from the other senior royals. She was placed in a secondary balcony of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Whitehall alongside Vice-Admiral Timothy Lawrence and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

The arrangement during the recent Royal event created a buzz online, with some claiming that Queen Elizabeth snubbed Meghan. However, TV host Lorraine Kelly explained that Prince Harry’s wife was moved for some practical reasons. "The Queen was there on the balcony. She was there with Camilla and she was there with Kate – not with Meghan,” she said. "Not any snub, it’s just that it’s a tiny balcony and you can’t have so many people on it," Lorraine went on.

Daily Mirror Royal editor Russell Myers said that Meghan Markle’s position has nothing to do with her alleged rift with Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth, following her controversial statements in the “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey” documentary. He made it clear that the arrangement was part of a “formula” that the Royal Family has been adopting for years.

"The Queen is standing with the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge and there’s a bit of interaction seen by the lipreader, just talking about how cold it was,” Russell stated. "On the other balcony, there was Sophie Wessex, Meghan and Sir Tim Lawrence, Princess Anne’s husband. This is the formula that we are seeing over the last few years and, certainly, a very emotional day," he added.

Earlier this week, IBTimes shared there have been claims saying that the sitting position of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from this week’s event showed their “shrinking” significance in the family. Royal fans are aware that the couple’s royal longevity and seniority were affected with the arrival of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s three bundles of joy – Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 1.

Meanwhile, reports have it that Queen Elizabeth II was not pleased after learning about Meghan and Prince Harry’s revelations during their trip to South Africa in September. The father of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor revealed that he and Prince William are “on different paths,” which, reportedly, confirmed the rumors that sons of Princess Diana have been feuding for months already. Meghan, for her part, shared that she is “not really ok” with her current position as part of the Royal family.

Meghan Markle divulged she never thought it would be easy but she said she “thought it would be fair.” Prince Harry, at the time, also talked about his greatest fear that the ceaseless media scrutiny might affect the lives of his wife and only son. “I will not be bullied into carrying a game that killed my mum,” he said.
