Michael B. Jordan spoke out about his breakup with Lori Harvey for the first time during his hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.

During his opening monologue Saturday, the "Black Panther" star, 35, opened up about the aftermath of his "very first public breakup," including his decision to join the dating app Raya.

"Twenty years [after my first acting gig on 'All My Children'], I just directed my very first movie, 'Creed III.' But, right after that, I went through my very first public breakup," Jordan said, Us Weekly reported. "Now, most people after a breakup are like, 'I'm gonna get in better shape.' But, I was already in 'Creed' shape! So, I had to be like, 'Alright, I guess I'll learn a new language.' Anyway, estoy en Raya."

He went on to joke, "After the breakup, everyone thought I was so heartbroken because when the news came out, I was at a basketball game and they caught me looking [disappointed]. Look, I was just chilling, but the Internet decided that was me being sad. Lucky for me, if you Google 'Sad Michael Jordan' the first 8,000 results are [of the basketball star crying]."

"SNL" cast members Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim and Punkie Johnson then interrupted his monologue to shoot their shot with Jordan, with Nwodim sporting a wedding dress and Johnson poking fun at her own sexuality.

"Aren't you gay?" Jordan asked Johnson, to which she replied, "I am. But you're Michael B. Jordan. And I'm Punkie B. Curious. I mean, even vegans got cheat days, right?"

Jordan and Harvey dated for over a year before they called it quits in June 2022. An unnamed source told People at the time that both were "completely heartbroken" over the split because "they still love each other."

The tipster suggested that they parted ways because while the actor was hoping to settle down, the model was allegedly not ready to take their relationship to the next level.

"Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time," the insider claimed. "They had great times together and brought out the best in each other."

Lori's father Steve Harvey previously expressed his approval of Jordan when the actor was still dating his daughter. During his appearance on "People (The TV show!)," the TV host admitted that it was the first time he was happy about Lori's romance.

"I don't speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I'm happy for my daughter right now. I really am," the "Family Feud" host said on "People (The TV show!)" in September 2021. "It's the first time I've been happy for her [in a relationship]. And it's the first time she's been happy."

Following the pair's split, he clarified on his "Steve Harvey Morning Show" that life goes on and that he was on team Lori.

"I feel fine. I'm fine. I still gotta go to work. I still gotta take care of my family," Steve joked while discussing how he felt about Lori and Jordan's breakup. "I'm team Lori, 1,000%. She's my daughter. I love her, I support her."
