Soon after live-streaming a video from an unknown man’s car, a Michigan woman went missing. The friends and family members of 26-year-old Jessica Lynn Andress have not seen her since she left her Detroit home Dec. 7 for a date with a man she met online. She reportedly travelled by bus to meet him.

Later that evening, Lynn Andress posted a video on Facebook from an unknown man’s car. Shortly thereafter, she called 911 from the Wake Forest Baptist Trauma Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina, nearly 600 miles away from her place. According to Detroit Free Press, she told the authorities, "We were robbed; my clothes, my money, my phone.” She has not been heard since then, confirmed the police.

Her father, James Andress Sr. from St. Ignace, contacted the Winston Salem Police Department and filed a missing complaint Dec 8 when she did not return home.

According to the New York Post, her uncle re-posted the Facebook Live video but later removed it. Her video showed a heavy-built man in a red shirt who was driving the car. It is not yet confirmed whether she was traveling to meet the same person who was behind the wheel. The original link to the Facebook video was later deleted but there's an alternate link that could be found on Everipedia.

Her uncle, Larry McQuiston, made an appeal on Facebook for help to find the 26-year-old girl. McQuistone in his post wrote, “We need to identify who the man in the video is and possibly where she is.” He added, “She is believed to be in danger.” However, even this page was deleted.

“The more help I can get, the better,” Andress, Sr. told the Detroit Free Press.

Lynn Andress is 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has long black hair and brown eyes. She might be wearing a black Columbia jacket with white and blue trim, reported the Detroit Free Press. Police have requested people to contact at 336-773-7700 if anyone has information about her whereabouts.

In a similar incident, Shanaya Coley from Paterson, New Jersey disappeared after she left her apartment complex Dec. 5. It seemed the 24-year-old was abducted in her own car and there was no trace of her till date.

Police are trying to find out Coley’s car, which is described as a 2013 model gray Nissan Altima with New Jersey number plates reading R74-HRX. Coley lived with her 3-year-old son in Colonial Avenue in Paterson, reported the ABC7.
