Just hours after news broke that country singers Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were splitting, the divorce was finalized. The paperwork was reportedly processed on Monday, officially ending the marriage of four years.

The couple released a statement to the Associated Press on Monday about their breakup, and now sources are giving a little more insight into the lives of Lambert and Shelton.

According to People magazine, the 31-year-old “Over You” singer is taking things “day by day.” An insider claims that Lambert is “sad and trying to process everything,” and that she’s “doing the best she can.”

Although the couple asked for “privacy” while they “move forward separately,” that might be difficult as reports have been circulating about infidelity in the marriage. The latest rumor suggests that Lambert was unfaithful twice. A source revealed to TMZ that Shelton had suspected his wife of cheating with fellow singer Chris Young, who opened for Lambert’s tour a couple of years ago. However, the push to file for divorce came after Shelton received information that Lambert was involved with another man. The source added that “The Voice” judge has been “upset” for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, another insider close to Shelton revealed to People magazine that he has has been an “incredibly loyal and dedicated husband.”

“I can guarantee you he has been faithful to that woman,” the unnamed source said.

Miranda Lambert has not addressed the cheating rumors. However, while her ex-husband has been quiet on Twitter since July 17, Lambert took to the social media site on Monday to thank fans for their support as she hits Nashville for a one-night Roadside Bards Pink Guitar Unplugged show. The show was sold out a little over an hour after she posted the initial message.
