Misty Upham Missing: Report Says Actress Was Worried About Money
People.com reports actress Misty Upham may have been worried about money before she disappeared earlier this week. People quoted a source as saying there were times Upham struggled to make her rent.
Upham, 32, who played the housekeeper in "August: Osage County," disappeared last Sunday after leaving her Auburn, Washington, apartment. Upham's father filed a missing person report and issued a statement saying she suffered from an unspecified "medical condition."
"She has not been in contact with her family or friends since her disappearance," Charles Upham said.
Auburn Police Cmdr. Steve Stocker said authorities had responded to suicide calls four times in the past year, TV Guide reported. The actress, a member of the Blackfeet tribe, is reportedly on medication for mental health issues.
"She told me and her mom that we didn't have to worry about her any more. … I thought it sounded suicidal myself, so I called the police. She's always been a suicidal person," Charles Upham said, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
