  • Team Lakay is set to feature four of its best fighters at ONE: Winter Warriors II
  • Russia's Vitaly Bigdash and China's Fan Rong both look to add to their winning streaks
  • Zebaztian Kadestam plans on stopping his two-fight skid against Murad Ramazanov

Singapore-based ONE Championship promises to keep the ball rolling with the announcement of the full fight card for ONE: Winter Warriors II.

No. 2-ranked flyweight Danny Kingad will do battle with former ONE flyweight kingpin and currently No. 4-ranked contender Kairat Akhmetov in the main event in a potential title contender bout for Adriano Moraes’ belt.

The long-awaited return of No. 2-ranked bantamweight Kevin Belingon will see him face South Korea’s Kwon Won Il in the co-main event as both fighters have a lot to prove with a potential title shot on the line.

Also on the card is promotion veteran Vitaly Bigdash of Russia who is set to fight Chinese submission master Fan Rong in a catchweight bout.

This will be Bigdash’s first appearance with the promotion since his stunning first-round victory over Japan’s Yuki Niimura in December 2018.

The then 34-year-old Russian landed a big shot on Niimura and proceeded to work his way into a submission attempt, forcing the Japanese to tap out to a wonderfully executed reverse triangle armbar.

Fan is riding a two-fight win streak that includes a TKO victory over Sherif Mohamed in June 2019. The Chinese will look to continue his winning ways against Bigdash.

In the welterweight division, knockout artist Zebaztian Kadestam from Sweden is seeking an end to his two-fight losing skid as he enters the cage opposite of undefeated welterweight Murad Ramazanov of Russia.

Kadestam put himself in a predicament in his last fight against Gadzhimurad Abdulaev after the latter took him down to the mat and proceeded to force a submission via a nasty neck crank.

Meanwhile, Ramazanov is entering his third fight with the promotion and has looked nothing short of dominant, highlighted by a ground-and-pound victory over South Korea’s Bae Myung Ho in his ONE Championship debut.

Rounding out the event are the long-awaited debuts of Team Lakay members Stephen Loman and Jhanlo Sangiao to kick off the card.

The former BRAVE CF bantamweight champion in Loman is out to prove his championship caliber against submission expert Yusup Saadulaev of Russia.

Sangiao, the son of Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao, will make his professional debut against Indonesia’s Paul Lumihi who is currently on a four-fight losing skid.

ONE: Winter Warriors II will be recorded at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on December 3 and will be aired live via tape delay on December 17.
