The specs of the rumored Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti were recently leaked and it revealed the mainstream graphics cards would feature the GA106 GPU and target the $299 market.

Prolific industry insider Kopimite unveiled the official names of the upcoming Nvidia mid-range graphics cards, which are the GeForce RTX 3060 and the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. These upcoming desktop cards would replace the current RTX 2060 and the GTX 1660 Ti/SUPER, according to Wccftech. The GA106 GPU is the mainstream chip for the company’s graphics cards and it is possible it would get several configurations for every specific product it is featured in, the site added.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 is speculated to feature 3840 CUDA cores, while the RTX 3050 Ti would be equipped with 3584 CUDA cores. Since both graphics cards are allegedly based on GA106 GPU, it is anticipated to have a 192-bit memory controller. Essentially, it could feature 6 GB or 12 GB of GDDR6 memory.

These specs seemingly indicate the RTX 3060 would not feature ray-tracing cores, which is a first in the x050 series using the RTX technology. Meanwhile, rumors have it the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti would feature ray-tracing cores. As for the graphics cards’ availability, the RTX 3060 is anticipated to release in January next year.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, on the other hand, is anticipated to arrive sometime in January or February 2021. Whispers online claimed Nvidia might also release the RTX 3050, but its specs are not yet available. While several reports claimed the RTX 3060 would be available next year, one retailer in Saudi Arabia listed the custom Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards for sale.

Apparently, the retailer already received the stock of the custom Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle. Interestingly, the said card costs 3,699 Saudi Riyal while the Eagle OC variant is for sale at 3,799 Saudi Riyal or approximately $1,000. The said card is rumored to cost around $399 in the U.S.
